Theatre Peckham

Producing theatre and youth-arts academy on Havil Street that has trained and platformed a generation of Black British actors, directors and writers. Theatre Peckham — founded as Peckham Theatre — moved into its current Havil Street building in 2014 and has since become both a producing house and a training pipeline. Its young people’s academy has launched the careers of John Boyega, Letitia Wright and many others; the main stage carries a programme of Black-led new writing, family work and community performance, with a strong sense of place anchored to Peckham’s African and Caribbean diasporas.
